At Catalyst, we understand that healing for an injured worker is unique. Our physical therapists create positive, goal-oriented treatment programs designed to help you return to work more efficiently and safely.
Every job asks something different from your body. Catalyst customizes care to the specific needs of the injured worker and practices open communication between all parties involved, helping ensure job tasks are chosen according to your functional capacity.
Our focus is twofold: help you feel better and build the work-specific capacity required for a return to job duties. We coordinate authorization with the carrier, schedule around work obligations, and provide the documentation your case manager and treating physician need to keep the case moving.
Whether symptoms began suddenly or built up over time, our team can assess how your body moves and create a practical plan for recovery.
Targeted care for work-related spine pain, movement limitations, and discomfort that can affect sitting, standing, lifting, or carrying.
Guidance for pain that develops gradually from repetitive work demands, with progressive treatment and exercise tailored to your needs.
Movement-focused care for work-related postural stress and the limitations that can come with prolonged positions.
Build confidence and functional capacity for the lifting, carrying, reaching, and movement demands of your role.
Individualized assessment and treatment for upper-extremity symptoms that may interfere with daily work tasks.
Support for pain, mobility restrictions, and functional limitations related to arthritis or joint breakdown.
Goal-oriented rehabilitation that addresses the physical demands of work and helps you move with greater efficiency and safety.
Your first visit begins with a detailed conversation about your history, goals, and the issue that brought you in. We then assess range of motion, strength, joint mobility, and movement patterns relevant to your condition and work demands.
You leave with a working diagnosis, a plan of care, and an initial set of bite-sized exercises. Each follow-up session builds on the last with hands-on bodywork, skilled therapy to correct faulty biomechanics, progressive exercise, and reassessment. We update your home program with manageable changes—not a flood of new exercises.
Most acute conditions resolve in 6–12 visits over 4–8 weeks. Chronic conditions and post-surgical rehabilitation typically require 16–24 visits over 8–12 weeks. Your physical therapist will provide a personalized estimate after your evaluation and let you know honestly when discharge is appropriate.
Bring photo ID, your insurance card, any imaging or surgical reports related to your condition, comfortable clothing you can move in, and a list of current medications. Plan to arrive 10 minutes early for intake paperwork.
No referral is required to begin physical therapy in California for up to 45 days or 12 visits, whichever comes first. Our team can help you understand your next step.
