Catalyst can bill most third-party payors and private insurance directly for telehealth when covered. Patients remain responsible for understanding their benefits. Before beginning care, ask your insurer about deductibles, co-pays, visit limits, and whether a prescription or pre-authorization is required.
Telehealth is not recommended as a replacement for in-person care when hands-on assessment or manual therapy is needed. It can be an excellent supplement for exercise progressions, biomechanics guidance, and patients who need help dialing in their care from a distance.

No. California is a direct-access state, so you can begin physical therapy without a physician referral for up to 45 days or 12 visits, whichever comes first.
